Luxury Custom ‘Floreat’ Buffet

A little while ago, we showed you Shane working with the craftsmen, on a special new piece that has gained considerable attention as an artistic statement piece for the home, as much for its outstanding workmanship and practicality. This album was a sneak-peek glimpse of our brand new buffet that’s been three weeks in the making! So without further ado, we are excited to present the Floreat Buffet!

The two highly featured slabs of specialty Marri have been crafted with all the care and respect for it’s beautiful natural state to create a gorgeous exterior with lots of natural character.

We’ve used a velvet-black lacquer to create a sophisticated contrast to the raw-look waterfall edge. We’ve also included Blum mechanisms that spring open with just a gentle press to reveal a solid Marri interior. Clever asymmetry makes it a design masterpiece.

We believe something this special deserves the protection that only the latest, state of the art finish to come out of Europe can provide. We want you to have superb pieces of beauty and function in your home, that withstand whatever life and family can throw at them!

This innovative acrylic lacquer has set a brand new benchmark in finishes, not only for being the first to allow the natural hue of the timber to feature through its 100% clear, UV stabilised varnish, but for its outstanding performance and protection.

The no-sheen option, as seen here, is even engineered with a texture to mimic raw timber – you’d never know it was there while it quietly protects and preserves. It really has to be seen (and touched) to be believed.
